Matt Talbot Sunday

Prayer for Matt Talbot’s Beatification & Canonisation

Lord, in your servant Matt Talbot you have given us a wonderful example of triumph over addiction, of devotion to duty, and of lifelong reverence for the Most Holy Sacrament.  May his life of prayer and penance give us the courage to take up our crosses and follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Father, if it be your will that your beloved servant should be glorified by your Church, make known by your heavenly favours the power he enjoys in your sight.  We ask this through the same Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Weekly Envelope - Family Offering Collection

Thank you to all the parishioners who support the collection for the upkeep and maintenance of the Church, Church grounds and parochial properties by way of the weekly envelope or bank standing order.

The new boxes of envelopes for the year commencing 1st June 2014 have been distributed to parishioners.  Your support is greatly appreciated and needed.  Please let us know if you have not received a box and you would like to contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of the Church.  Please contact the Parish Office on 01 868 0804 if you would like to contribute.

Special Event for Ecumenical Bible Week

Special Event for Ecumenical Bible Week in All Hallows College, Grace Park Road, Dublin 9 on Thursday 12th June, 2014 at 7:30pm. .

The topic will be what the Bible means to me and it will be a chaired panel discussion with audience participation.  Archbishop Diarmuid Martin and the Anglican Archbishop of Dublin, Archbishop Michael Jackson will be among those on the panel.  All welcome. No admission charge, small donations accepted.
