Penitential Service / Holy Week 2017

There will be one Penitential Service this year for our Grouping of Parishes (Cabra, Cabra West, Phibsborough and Navan Road).  This will take place in the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Navan Road on Monday 10th Apri at 7:30pm.  There will be many visiting priests attending.

Ash Wednesday 2017

Wednesday 1st March is Ash Wednesday.  Masses will be celebrated at 10am and 6pm in Christ the King Church.  Blessed Ashes will be distributed after the Masses. 

Christmas Penitential Service

The Christmas Penitential Serivce will take place in Christ the King Church, Cabra on Wednesday 21st December, 2016 at 7:30pm  All are welcome.

Created a Cardinal by Pope St. John Paul II in the Consistory of 21 February 2001, with the Titular church of San Silvestro in Capite.

Archbishop Emeritus of Dublin 26 April 2004.

He participated in the conclave of April 2005 which elected Pope Benedict XVI.

Parish Mission

To celebrate the Feast of Christ the King and the conclusion of the Jubilee Year of Mercy you are invited to a Parish Mission on  Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 18th,19th and 20th November.

Fr John Harris O.P. will preach at all Masses on the theme of God’s Mercy and what it means in our lives.

Friday  18thMasses at     10.00am & 7.30pm    

Saturday 19th Mass at     10.00am including the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick

6.00pm Vigil Mass

Sunday 20th Masses at    9.00am, 10.30am &  12noon

Fr. John Harris O.P. will be available for Confessions on Saturday 19th November between 11am - 1pm and  3pm - 6pm.  There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 11am until 5pm on Saturday.
