In 1932, the year of the Eucharistic Congress, the foundation stone for the Church of Christ the King was laid and the Church was blessed and opened on the last Sunday of October in 1933 on the Feast of Christ the King.  The Church was then in Arran Quay Parish and the Parish of Christ the King was formally established in 1941.

Wednesday 26th February is Ash Wednesday.  Masses will be celebrated at 10am and 6pm in Christ the King Church.  Blessed ashes will be distributed after the Masses.
