Christ the King Day Centre is based in the grounds of Christ the King Church. The Centre is open Monday – Thursday. We are a place for people to come and spend time together socialising and enjoying each other’s company. We strive to provide as many varied activities as is possible so that anybody who comes in can have an enjoyable time.
Meals-on-wheels are delivered Monday – Friday. Please ring Mary for further details or if you like to come along.

The Day Centre was founded in 1973 by the Sancta Maria Ladies Club to provide care for senior citizens in the Cabra West and surrounding areas.
Based in Cabra West, we welcome clients from the surrounding area. We offer a homely welcoming atmosphere for older people. The centre
provides a social outlet for our elderly community, enabling a more independent lifestyle and social contact, in a friendly, safe environment.
The Sancta Maria Day Care Centre is open 5 days a week.
We collect our clients each day from home and drop them back every evening. They get a four course meal every day at lunchtime. In addition
we offer activities which include crafts, bingo, chair exercises, music, TV room etc.
There are additional services such as facilities of a wet room, hairdressing and chiropody.
We also have a Meals on Wheels service in operation. Meals are freshly prepared each day, ensuring our clients get a friendly hello and a fresh
nutritional meal, Monday through Friday, delivered to their door.
