A living, vibrant Faith Community is characterised by the level of commitment and spirituality that it’s members personally share and show to the world.
Here in the Most Precious Blood Church we have an abundance of committed Catholics who give of their time and Faith, both voluntarily and contracted, to worship God and help create the Kingdom of God in the here and now.

All the Baptised are called upon to be Disciples in this world and to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are all unique and yet we all share in that commission; Ordained, Professed, lay, are compelled by the Spirit to be Christ to another.

The Parish does this by being actively involved both inside the walls of the Church and beyond. Parishioners can take on roles and responsibilities that suit their personal calling and skills while also living out the reality of their Baptismal responsibilities in whatever way they can.

The Ministries we have reflect the diversity of callings in the Christian community; Eucharistic Ministers who assist with the distribution of Holy  Communion both during Mass and to the sick/ Ministers of the Word who proclaim the Word of God in the readings / Singers and Cantors who add hymns to our celebrations as part of the choir and folk group / In-Church cleaners who ensure the sacred space of the church is fitting for worship of God / alms-collectors who assist with the collection of monies during Mass / Organised envelope collectors who call door to door helping Parishioners donate to the Parish / Baptism facilitators who work closely with families to ensure a spirit-filled and profound Sacramental experience / Parish Pastoral Council which is a consultative and representative group of the parish / Parish finance committee that oversees the finances of the Parish / Liturgy group works closely with the priest to prepare the Sunday liturgy as well as the different high points of our liturgical year.
